The build at a glance
Odysseys are the weekly challenge. Each is a 3-5 map gauntlet with a theme. Common restrictions:
- No farms โ can't use Banana Farm (tight economy)
- Limited categories โ only certain tower types allowed
- No continues โ one life, no resells
- Half cash โ tight economy
- Custom rules โ every Odyssey is different
Read the rules screen before placing any tower. If farms are banned and you already placed a farm, you can't restart mid-run.
Step by step
READ THE RULES. Check the right-side panel. Note all restrictions, lives, and starting cash.
Play conservatively. If a map seems impossible, restart โ Odysseys track which maps you've completed.
Your towers reset between maps. Start fresh each time. The Odyssey's score depends on completing all maps, not maximizing one.
Get a feel for the theme. If it's a no-farms Odyssey, use the Sniper-Village core. If it's a no-Military Odyssey, use Bomb + Druid.
If you've made it this far, you know the pattern. Stick with what worked.
Some Odysseys have a boss map. Apply Boss Bloons strategy if so.
By Odyssey theme:
- No farms: Sniper + Village + Dartling + Spike + Bomb
- No Military: Bomb + Druid + Wizard + Ninja + Spike
- No Magic: Sniper + Mortar + Bomb + Dartling + Spike
- No Support: Bomb + Dartling + Sniper + Wizard + Druid
- Tight economy: Sniper + Village + Dartling + Spike (cheap core)
Common mistakes
- Not reading the rules. You will place a banned tower and ruin the run.
- Spreading thin across 5 maps. Each map needs its own build, don't try to save heroes.
- Skipping because a map looks hard. Most Odysseys are completable with the meta-build for that theme.
