The build at a glance
Boss Bloons is the DPS check. Each boss has 25,000 - 200,000 HP, plus unique mechanics (phases, immunities, regenerating layers). You need tier 5 towers and a hero with a strong level 20 ability.
Key towers: Tech Terror (Super Monkey 4-0-0), MAD (Dartling 4-0-0), Sniper 4-0-2, Spike Factory 0-2-5, and Bomb 5-0-0. Adora's level 20 Ball of Light (50,000 damage) wins most fights.
Step by step
Adora โ her level 20 ability does 50,000 damage and one-shots most bosses in phase 2.
Place Sniper (0-0-0) by round 3. Work toward 4-0-0.
Place a 0-0-0 Super Monkey by round 25. Get to 2-0-0 by round 35.
First boss at round 40. Don't engage with weak towers. Save the Adora level 20 ability for the boss.
Super Monkey to 4-0-0 (Tech Terror) by round 55. Add Village to 0-2-0.
Second boss at round 60. You should be using Tech Terror + Sniper + Adora ability to kill in phase 1.
Place Dartling to 4-0-0 (MAD) by round 95. Add Spike Factory to 0-2-5.
All boss fights. Adora level 20 ability + Tech Terror spam + MAD fire = win.
The hardest bosses in current BTD6:
- Bloonarius (HP stacking boss, scales with round)
- Phayze (phase transitions, 250K HP at round 100)
- Lych (heals when bloons leak)
- Elite Bosses (Bloonarius Elite, Phayze Elite, Lych Elite, Vortex Elite, etc.)
For Elite Bosses, you need every tower tier 5 by round 95. Standard bosses are killable at tier 4-5.
Common mistakes
- Skipping a tier 5 tower. Standard Boss modes allow only 1 tier 5 per category. Use it.
- Using Adora's level 20 ability on regular rounds. Save it for bosses.
- Ignoring the Phase mechanic. Phayze and Elite Bosses have phase changes where they become invulnerable for a few seconds.
