Quick Reference
The build at a glance
Easy mode is for learning. There's no way to lose if you place a few towers and upgrade them, so use this mode to test hero abilities, try new paths, or grind Monkey Money on Beginner/Intermediate maps.
The build below is intentionally simple โ a 0-0-0 Dart Monkey plus a Boomerang will carry you through round 100 with zero micro. Save farms for later if you want Monkey Money.
Step by step
Quincy is the default hero and he's actually good here. His triple-shot level 3 ability is strong on grouped rounds.
Place a 0-0-0 Dart Monkey on strong range and upgrade to 0-2-0 Dart by round 8. That's your main DPS for the next 30 rounds.
Add a 0-0-0 Boomerang. Get 2-0-0 Boomerang (Glaives) by round 20. The faster attack speed crushes ceramics.
Ceramic rush. Your 0-2-0 Dart + 2-0-0 Boomerang + Quincy's ability will handle it. Don't stress.
Add a Bomb Shooter to 2-0-0 for grouped MOAB damage. Start a Banana Farm if you want to play around.
Place a 0-0-0 Monkey Village to 0-2-0 and put it in range of everything. Camo becomes free.
Max your Bomb Shooter to 4-0-0 (MOAB Mauler) by round 95. Use Quincy's level 10 ability on round 100 BAD.
Easy mode doesn't require optimization. The combination of 0-2-0 Dart (cheap grouped damage) + 2-0-0 Boomerang (ceramic shredder) + 2-0-0 Bomb (MOAB damage) covers every round. The Village just exists to buff everything passively. Don't over-engineer Easy mode.
Common mistakes
- Buying tier 4+ upgrades on Easy. Save the cash, it does nothing useful here.
- Selling towers to "rebuild better." Just keep placing, money is free in Easy.
- Skipping Banana Farms. If you want Monkey Money, you need 3-2-0 farms by round 50.
Money farming setup
On Easy/Medium with no continues restriction, the fastest Monkey Money farm is 4+ 3-2-0 Banana Farms on a tight map like Lotus Island or Spice Islands. Place by round 35, max by round 60, then just play to round 100 while the money rolls in.
