The build at a glance
C.H.A.D.s is a grouped damage check. CHADs are 75 HP purple bloons that spawn in massive groups (50-200 per round) after round 40. Single-target damage is useless โ only AOE matters.
Best towers: Mortar (4-0-0 + 0-0-4), Bomb (4-0-0), Spike Factory (4-0-0), Tack (0-2-0). The Mortar's 4-0-0 (Poppyseed) and 0-0-4 (Shattering Shells) are the meta.
Step by step
Striker Jones โ bomb/mortar damage buff is critical here.
Place a Dart Monkey. Don't worry about damage yet โ saves rounds are normal.
Normal bloons. Get a Bomb Shooter to 2-0-0 by round 35. The CHAD switch happens at round 40.
The switch. 100 CHADs spawn at once. Your 2-0-0 Bomb will not pop them. You need AOE.
Place a 0-0-0 Mortar by round 42. Get to 2-0-0 by round 50. Add Tack to 0-2-0.
Mortar to 4-0-0 (Poppyseed) by round 65. Place Spike Factory to 2-0-0.
Spike Factory to 4-0-0 (Spike Storm). Tack to 0-3-0 (Hot Shots).
Mortar to 0-0-4 (Shattering Shells). Use Striker's level 20 ability on round 100.
Up until round 39, you're playing normal BTD6. At round 40, every bloon is now a CHAD (75 HP purple). If your towers are single-target focused (Dart, Boomerang, Sniper, Ace), they will leak instantly. You need at least 1 tier-3+ AOE tower placed and ready by round 40. If you don't have that, restart.
Common mistakes
- Placing Sniper, Ace, Dartling. These are single-target and useless for CHAD groups.
- Skipping Mortar. The Mortar's AOE is the meta โ it's the only tower that scales with CHAD group sizes.
- Not having a 4-0-0 tower by round 50. Round 50 has 200+ CHADs. Tier 2-3 towers will leak.
