The build at a glance
Impoppable is CHIMPS-lite: same rules except you can sell, you have more lives early, and you don't get 0 money start. The optimal build is identical to CHIMPS but with faster timing since you have more cash to work with.
The Sniper-Village core is dominant here. Just like CHIMPS, you want 4-0-2 Sniper + 0-2-0 Village as the foundation, then add Dartling, Ninja, and Spike Factory for coverage.
Step by step
Etienne for camo detection + global drone coverage. Sauda if you're playing a map with lots of intersections.
Place Sniper (0-0-0) by round 3. Get 1-0-0 by round 8.
Place 0-0-0 Village and rush to 0-2-0 by round 14. Sniper to 4-0-0 (Deadly Precision) by round 28.
Save aggressively rounds 20-30. The ceramic + MOAB rushes back-to-back are the first checkpoint.
Place 0-0-0 Dartling by round 42. Work toward 4-0-0 (MAD) for late-game MOABs.
Add a 0-0-0 Ninja to 4-0-0 (Grandmaster) by round 55. Camo + MOAB cleanup.
Spike Factory to 0-2-5 by round 75. Place 1-2 0-0-0 Banana Farms for income.
Final upgrades: Sniper to 4-0-2, Dartling to 4-0-0. Use Etienne's level 20 ability on round 100 BAD.
Use Impoppable to practice CHIMPS with a safety net. The builds are identical but you can sell on Impoppable if you mess up placement. If you can clear Impoppable consistently, you have the skill to attempt CHIMPS Black Border on the same map.
Common mistakes
- Selling the Sniper to try a different tower. Sniper is the win condition โ don't.
- Going 0-2-0 Sniper first. 1-0-0 is the path to 4-0-0.
- Skipping Village crosspath. 0-2-0 is mandatory.
- Buying farms before round 50. Save the cash for damage first, income second.
